At his age, he should be looking to join a contender. There is got to be a contending team that would want him right? The guy can still play, he has a high FG%, decent jumper & does play D.

I've always loved his game & what he could of been if it was for injuries.
He is got heart & was determine to overcome injuries, surgeries, rehab, near death infection.

Well, seeing how he was pretty good under D'Antoni back in Phoenix, if he joins the Knicks, he will fit in quite comfortably under D'Antoni is system again. But like you said, his health status is not good enough to make him big enough of a role to help the team much.

l agree with you. l think he would also fit with the Lakers. He should sign with a contender so as he gets a chance to win a ring since his career is about to end. Too bad injuries struck him throughout his career. l wish him all the best and that he signs with the team that is contending.

Grant Hill definitely deserves a champ ring.

The idea for HIll to join Celtics is pretty good as he should mold in the system well with the like of KG, P2 & Allen, true warriors who r willing to sacrifice personal glory & get things done.

A more important issue is that Hill is among the best bargain available as a spiritual leader - my assumption is related to the concern on KG is injury, which is more severe than expected & when it happened at the latter stage of a player is career, it is an alerting sign. The bottomline is HIll remains the same classy F who can shoot, rebound & pass, & u have to respect him every time when he gets the ball. This creates more space for P2 & Ronjo to penetrate & porbably more open shots for Allen.

There is a good reason for Celtics to lure Sheed, but they should also approach Hill to form an at-their-30s version of Fab Five lol.

l agree, he should want to go to a contender & a contender should really want him. The Orlando Magic have a hole at the starting SF spot (if Turkoglu leaves) & they should definitely consider Grant Hill as a smart player who plays defense, makes open shots & knows his role. Injuries should not be a concern as he played all 82 games last year. Of course his 3-point shooting would need to improve for him to play for the Magic. The Spurs could certainly bring him off the bench to provide an additional punch. The Cavs could certainly use more talent. They've stated a need for bigger wings to allow LBJ time at the PF position so they will be interested in quality SFs. All of these teams should be using the Mid-Level Exception on him ASAP!
