Ariza wants to be the main factor and the main player. l do not blame him. He is trying to make a name for himself, and he is not going to disappoint.

l am a Rockets fan, and l understand Artest going to the Lakers and respect him for making that choice. l would do the same. He wants to win a ring, no matter how much the pay.

exactly for the second reason l think.. if he is in the Rockets then he can have more playing time thus a higher chance in increasing his stats.. if his stats increase then he will become more marketable.

the rockets are now looking for centers that can replace yao right? and they even talked to the Magics center (not Dwight). so l guess it will be more beneficial for him to choose rockets.

i think for Ariza it ultimately was about money! Had he gone to the Cavs it would have been for the same money (the same ''slap in the face'' offer) that the Lakers made him.

Portland r interested in Ariza but really have their heart set on Hedu Turkogolu. l do not think San Antonio was one of the teams reported with interest- the other destinations were the Clippers & the Raptors.

i think in the long term Ariza is part of the Rockets plans for the future- with Aaron Brooks, Scola, Landry -- they're going to be a ''blue collar'' type of team who r waiting for Yao & McGrady is contracts to expire & hope to land a big time player in 2010 to complement their young nucleus of players.

Chemistry wise i'm not sure that Ariza will offensively get the looks he gets in L.A. but work ethic wise- he fits into Houston well. l think ultimatley it came down to money although l think 5 yrs for $33 million is really not that much more than the $5.6 million a yr the Lakers were offering. Ariza is agent put him in a bad position. Hopefully things will work out for both sides- l have no animosity towards Trevor & wish him well- & i'm just glad he went to the Rockets & not to the Cavs.
